Order Processing, Testing & Collection Turnaround
To ensure high standards of quality, safety, and performance, all decommissioned and refurbished IT hardware goes through rigorous diagnostic and configuration testing before release. Consequently, we maintain strict processing timelines to handle order volumes efficiently:
- No Immediate / Walk-in Releases: To protect our workflow and ensure order integrity, we do not support immediate on-demand order completion. Orders cannot be released immediately upon payment (e.g., within 20 minutes).
- Standard Processing Time: All orders require a buffer period of 24 to 48 business hours from payment clearance for setup, testing, and packaging.
- Collections: Stock collection can only be arranged once you have received formal confirmation that your order is tested, packaged, and ready for pickup.

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the BuyRefurb website (www.buyrefurb.co.za) and the purchase of any products or services offered by BuyRefurb. By accessing our website or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our website.
2. Products & Stock Availability
All products listed on BuyRefurb are refurbished or decommissioned IT hardware, including laptops, PCs, servers, screens, and network devices. While we make every effort to keep our listings accurate and up to date, stock availability may change without notice. In the event that a purchased item becomes unavailable, we will contact you promptly to arrange a suitable alternative or a full refund.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT unless otherwise stated. BuyRefurb reserves the right to update pricing without prior notice. Payment must be received in full before any order is processed or dispatched. We accept EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) and card payments via our secure payment gateway. Orders will only be fulfilled once proof of payment has been verified.
4. Delivery
Once payment reflects in our account, we will arrange courier delivery to your specified address. Delivery times are estimated and may vary depending on your location within South Africa. Orders placed after 2:00 PM may not be dispatched on the same day. BuyRefurb is not liable for delays caused by courier services or circumstances beyond our control. Risk of loss passes to the customer upon handover to the courier.
5. Warranty
All BuyRefurb products are covered by a 6 to 12 month warranty from the date of purchase, unless otherwise specified on the product listing. This warranty covers hardware defects and component failures under normal use. It does not cover:
- Physical damage caused by the customer
- Damage due to power surges or incorrect voltage
- Software-related issues or virus damage
- Unauthorised repairs or modifications
Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to su*****@**********co.za with proof of purchase.
6. Returns & Refunds
Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for items that are faulty or not as described. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error or a faulty product. 7. IT Asset Disposal (ITAD) Services
BuyRefurb offers IT hardware disposal services to SMB and corporate clients. By engaging our ITAD services, you confirm that you are authorised to dispose of the equipment provided. BuyRefurb will handle all hardware in a responsible and environmentally compliant manner. We accept no liability for data remaining on devices submitted for disposal — clients are advised to perform their own data sanitisation prior to handover, or request our certified data destruction service.
8. Limitation of Liability
BuyRefurb’s liability is limited to the value of the product purchased. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products or services. All products are sold “as refurbished” and descriptions are provided in good faith based on our testing and inspection processes.
9. Privacy & Data
We collect and process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Your information is used solely for order processing, communication, and service delivery. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. 10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the BuyRefurb website shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
